Accurate weather plus great graphics. It puts a smile on my face with the uplifting little opening statements. Highly recommend!
I look forward to the unique greeting every time I check the weather and love the visual effects. Weather forecast is as accurate as any other, good detail and hour by hour projections.
The graphics are awesome! The greetings are a great way to start the day.
This is a terrific little app for weather. Like the graphics and it is simple to use as well.
The only problem I have with this app is it doesnt give the wind chill. It gives the wind speed but that isnt as helpful. Also the new age messages that come up every time I open the app dont do anything for me.
Some bad moments
The daily greet is nice indeed but this is a weather app!
If you want stats or forecast with trends then forget this app. Use the weather channel.
It is also expensive if you want to see more details, say after the current and next day forecast, it costs around 11$ per year. Isnt worth it.
I prefer Yowindow. It is a really cute app with picture changing and you can see hourly weather changes by sliding your fingers on the time scale.
Then I look at the weather channel app.
I used to love this. Pay a lot of money for something that doesnt work half the time anymore.
Thought this would be a good change to my weather eye app, boy was I wrong. So many advertisements and requests to purchase. I will be deleting this ASAP!
This app really is beautiful, but what good is a weather app that consistently gets the weather wrong?
Example: today, it says the high will be 93. It is already 95 at 10:AM, but the app says its 86. At 8:AM, it said it was currently 83, it was already 90. I expect it will be well over 100 this afternoon. This is not an isolated incident. This is typical inaccuracy.
Cloud cover is also often wrong, as is precipitation forecasting.
This app also takes up a huge amount of memory - 177MB. Much more than the NCOAA World Radar at 47MB, which is far more comprehensive & superior in every way.
The premium content has also been taken away on Sunday. That really is a shame. I had previously complemented the developer for the brilliant marketing strategy of giving a sample on Sundays. Its such a shame when a good app gets ruined by an unneeded update as this was.
I give the app 2 stars for the lovely music that changes with the weather. But as a weather forecasting tool, its worthless. So its getting deleted. Bye.
Installs as admin and adds new email to mail app pushing adds to inbox. Offers suggested apps, adding more email adds to inbox. Cannot delete email accounts even when app is deleted
Uhhhhhhh...so I can get the weather in cities named Brooklyn in Ohio, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan & many others...but I cant get the weather in BROOKLYN, NEW YORK?!?! Its one of the largest "cities" (OK technically its a borough) in the USA & its not available on this app?! How accurate could the forecasting possibly be if huge places like Brooklyn, NY arent even there?! I think these folks need to spend less time on all the cutesy elements theyre trying to incorporate & just get their informational ducks in a row. EPIC FAIL.
